Australian Education System

The Education system is regulated by the Australian government in order to maintain the high standards of education associated with the country. As an international student one should study with an institution and in a course that is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Australia's laws promote quality education and protection for international students.

Admissions Procedure

For all programs, the admission is based on the marks scored and English proficiency . Along with the academic documents English proficiency tests like IELTS/TOEFL/PTE scores are required to get the admission.

IELTS/TOEFL/PTE

International Students are required to meet the overall score (6.5 IELTS or 87 TOEFL or 64 PTE).

Diploma Programs - 5.5 or 6.0 bands is required in IELTS.
Under-graduate Programs - 6 or 6.5 bands is required in IELTS.
Masters Program- 6.5 to 7.0 bands.
However, some courses like Nursing, Pharmacy, Life sciences, PhD need a higher level of proficiency an overall band of 7 bands in IELTS.

Part Time Job

International students are permitted to work 40 hours in two weeks during study sessions. There is also the possibility of scholarships, which can help to lower the cost of studying in Australia for international students. Scholarships are granted on Merit.

Student Accommodation:
